ATU Galway, formally known as GMIT was established in April 2022. With campuses in Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, and Galway, ATU serves a diverse community of learners, staff, and organisations and offers a unique blend of academic excellence and research innovation. There has been a strong research tradition in ATU Galway, characterised by high-quality research in several niche areas. Initially, this manifested through individual staff members’ endeavours to do research, publish, and come together in small research groups. Considerable funding has been secured throughout the years to build entrepreneurial opportunities activity and supports for those in the Agri-Food sector across Europe.

BC Naklo – Biotehniški Center Naklo

BC Naklo is the coordinating organisation of the project. It is an educational institution located in Naklo (Slovenia) offering a wide range of programs and facilities related to agriculture, horticulture, nature conservation, and food processing. BC Naklo has led and participated in numerous EU-funded projects, including Erasmus+ and Interreg projects. BC Naklo promotes sustainable practices, including organic farming and environmental responsibility.

The Confederazione Italiana Agricoltori Toscana (Cia Toscana) is a professional farmers association based in Florence. The Cia Toscana represents 20.000 farmers and more than 70.000 associated and protects the farmer’s economic, social and civil interests and the rural community. The Cia Toscana works to affirm and to improve the farmer’s professionalism, the development of the agricultural enterprise, the diffusion of innovation, the protection of the social and civil rights in rural communities.
